It looks like these kids are still unbrainwashed enough to remember how to have fun. But if they are hit enough and yelled at enough over the years, I am sure they will learn how important it is to stand still and look serious. By the way, I saw children about this age, also in uniforms, in Indonesia being brainwashed about the Muslim beliefs, and also in Thailand about the Buddhist beliefs, and in Singapore about either Muslim, Christian or Buddhist beliefs, depending on the school. Its not just the Catholics who brainwash their young.
