Behavioral Symptoms
- Crying, especially crying alone in one's room at night
- Cutting, self harm
- Insomnia
- Multiple sex partners
- Engaging in cyber sex, phone sex
- Rebellious, defiant behavior
- Lying
- Spending hours talking to older men on the Internet
- Obsession with Dawson Creek re-runs, or Girl Interrupted

- Listening to Eminem
- Difficulty expressing feelings with feeling words

- Feeling unwanted
- Feeling unloved
- Feeling lectured to
- Feeling alone
- Feeling guilt-tripped
- Feeling blamed
- Feeling judged
- Feeling labeled
- Feeling invalidated
- Feeling over-controlled
- Feeling disapproved of
- Feeling disappointing, inadequate
- Feeling afraid of one's parents
- Feelng afraid to be emotionally honest
- Feeling self-hatred
