One day I found this claim about Reuven Bar-On's EQi test, which
he and his marketing agents, MHS, claim is a test of emotional
intelligence. This claim happens to be from www eqiq.nl in
Holland, but there are many more like it.

Then I did a search in Google on the words "The world's first scientific measure of Emotional Intelligence".

It is sad that people don't take time to write to these sites to ask who says that the EQi is the " world's first scientific measure of Emotional Intelligence", (except, of course, those making money from it.)
(I need to also do a search on
"first scientifically developed and validated measure of
emotional intelligence" since I suspect these words are also
often used in marketing claims.)
