would u like to help me organize a weekly support group?
here is the idea
i used to be in one
we met once a week
we started out with what we called check in
we each gave a short summary of the past week.
we just listened. no cross talk.
and we each told of a goal we had and any progress that we made
on the goal.
it seems to be that if u share a goal with someone else, u are
more motivated to work on it. and ur group will support u just by
caring and being happy for u as u make progress and feeling
empathy when u have a setback
and of course they will be happy when u achieve it.
